my wife was very impressed with how the room had been set out for a female user ie lights, mirrors, plug sockets, and somewhere to sit and get ready!! as for me shower, tv, bed, perfect!! 😆

felt like room hadn’t been dusted of the masses of cobwebs beforehand. no fresh drinking water, just an empty bottle next to the kettle. towels seemed to malt upon touch when wet.

weren’t told that breakfast had to be ordered the night before so not able to get any on the first morning!

The room had a modern feel. the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Room and the bar area were very clean and the food was very good. The bar was quite busy on the second night with mainly locals, still there was room to get between the tables comfortably. The shower was lovely and hot. decaf coffee and biscuits were lovely and always welcome!

I arrived at six and there was little room in the car park, so arrive earlier or later. I was there for two nights but the room was not serviced, but I didn't ask for it to be done so probably I should have asked.

We had a long and tiring journey and were hoping for a comfortable room and good food and drink; all our expectations were met in full!
