Sea Crest Beach Villa

Excellent location. It’s right on the beach. Our room was on ground floor and the balcony door opened straight to the beach. The beach is very less crowded and you can chill and relax with your loved one without any disturbance. The owners (Chathu and Ishaan) are very cordial and they helped us with everything. They also gave me their Kayak and I had a good fun taking kayak to the ocean. Breakfast is hugeeee and delicious. Wi-fi : is Available. The router was located just outside our room and we enjoyed strong wifi even on beach. 10/10. Totally recommended of you are looking for a serene beach villa with an extremely helpful owners and staff. Rooms: Spacious and cleaned. They provide electric kettle and 3-4 towels in room. Safety: Totally safe. Staff is very helpful. It feels like home. Walkability: 1 km from Ambalangoda bus stand and market. Zero metres from beach 😃 Food & drinks: Delicious and hugeee breakfast. There is a lot of variety and it seems you are having brunch (breakfast + lunch). Mrs.Chathu was so kind. She arranged fish and eggs for my wife on request.

Just gorgeous. The husband and wife who run it are beyond lovely. The hotel is a little outside of town, but it’s on an almost private beach which is perfect - plus there is nothing to see/do in town. Amazing hospitality. Beautiful room overlooking the sea. We saw the most stunning sunset EVER!

Lovely location, right on the beach. Host was super friendly,inviting us to the local temple with them which was lovely. Breakfast was tasty and huge!

We were blown away by the location. The drawn curtains revealed a sandy garden with seating and a little gate leading to the most beautiful beach. We had the beach to ourselves, so idyllic! Chatnu and Ishan were the perfect hosts, the house is big with local artwork decorating the walls. In the evening they kindly fed us Sri Lankan style, the food was superb. When we were leaving Chatnu offered to drive us to our next destination, even on Poya day, a day when he should have been relaxing! Great hospitality and host we will remember for a long time. Thank you 😀

I liked everything about the place! The location directly at the beach was perfect. A really nice beach; beautiful water, white sand and not even crowded. The food in the hotel was really good too, both breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms were clean and had an ac. And best of all were the host, so nice people. They would bring everything we needed right away and were friendly all the time. All in all we had a great time at sea crest hotel and I would definitely recommend it!

Free parking, nice view, quiet beach

Wifi didnt work at all, A/C didnt work properly, hard to sleep because balcony door is next to the door and there is no curtain/blind, balcony too small, 1 chair only

The location was stunning, overlooking the beautiful clean beach to the rear of the property. The veranda was a lovely place to have meals and take in the views.

We were given the most basic rooms overlooking the road even though we had booked the deluxe rooms. They were very small and made it difficult to function. The window blinds did not fit the windows but they were super clean and the staff were so nice we decided not to question it plus we were staying just the one night.
