Villa Peroni Lake Como Cottage with swimming pool

Beautiful, stylish apartment with a view. Loved the terrace.

Nothing to dislike.

Great location. Amazing view, great facilities.

- First of all we need to talk about the area. The view from the appartment is awesome. Really pretty landscape and beautifull lake just underneath you. From the shore you need to climb 50-100 steps, so if you have difficulties with your mobility, this is maybe not for you, otherwise no problem. - we were here at february, so definitely off season, so it was peacefull and quiet no matter what time off the day it was. So depending on a person, it can be pros or conc. - Kitchen was well equipped and you can find basically everything what you need for cooking. All the appliances were rather new and the whole appartment had the feeling that it has been renovated in recent years, so you wont be disapointed. - two story appartment which has 2 heeting/cooling pumps downstairs so no matter what time of the year ot was, you can manage the temperature easily. - Last but definitely not least, if you had any questions before or during the visit, you always got quick response for your messages, so this is big plus! - Free parking.

So then those conc (some might be nitpicking but i want to list all)... - the location. Yes, the scenary is wonderfull and beautifull place, but there is nothing to do excpesially at off season. 1 or 2 restaurants open (dont believe what Google says) and we couldn't even find a decent grocery store to buy some breakfast stuff. So be prepared. Basically everything was closed. - heeting system inside of hhe appartment is good, but the floor is FREEZING!! We were there 5 days and pumps were heeting the appartment 24/7 but it didn't warm up the floor. Upstairs didn't have this problem. - Next our biggest minus... dirt. It was dirty! I think people are using shoes inside of the appartment, but all the floors were really dirty which was really disappointing, so cleaning need to be upgraded! - nothing were to hang you clothes. One tiny rag upstair, but nothing were to hang your clothes when you come inside. - No paper towels in a kitchen which was annoying. - we had a 2 year old kid with us and we were promised for kid bed and a chair, but these were missing when we arrived. Fortunately those were provided us next day, but the first night was crap because of that. - shover. If you are big as i am (188cm and 110kg) the shover is too small. Shover rain head hight is at 186cm and pressure is poor. The shover cabin is also rather small. - Last but definitely not least. If you arrive by car, don’t rent bigger car than small hatchbag. The circular ramp you drive down to the parking hall is TIGHT! We had 5 door Corolla, and there was maybe 5cm room at the back and at the front, so bigger car than that, you definitely wont fit in. The drivi g out is nightmare for a clutch and if you are mot a good driver, you will burn the clutch.

The house was excellent with great view and very good position.

The house had an espresso machine but they were not capsules to have a coffee. A house that is valued 250€ per night could definitely have 10 capsules (4€ maximum) for a 3 nights stay of more than 750€. We did not have internet during our stay the host tried to fix it but due to the fact that he do not live close to the apartment he asked the help of his assistant, who did not managed to come to the house and fix it. After many restarts the router finally managed to work so during our last night we had internet. The swimming pool of the apartment was out of service. Due to the fact that lake Como has high levels of humidity the house had a bad smell when we checked in, we opened the windows for an hour and the smell gone.
