"Tranquil and private"

So tranquil and private. It was lovely to look out of the window in the morning and be surrounded by nature. The hot tub was a lovely addition. The lodge was beautiful.

No bin inside cabin.

Everything was amazing. Very deep into the countryside.

Roads closed around the area which added an hour onto our journey but not fault of owners

"Exemplary. We could not have been happier."

10.0

Right from the off, we knew we were in safe hands with Lisa and Sion, with Lisa taking the time to email us following our booking and answer questions we had about the room and suitability for our pets. This was further reinforced with the excellent and thorough directions and instructions, sent by Lisa a week before our travel - handy due to the lack of phone signal in the area! On arrival, we were able to check ourselves in, get comfortable and thanks to a handy guide put together by our hosts, acquaint ourselves with the accommodation, features, the local area and even further afield. The cabin is extremely well thought out and it’s clear that Lisa and Sion have given thought to the remote location, ensuring you have everything available to you to prevent you having to travel out each day. The views offered over the foothills of Snowdonia and the frequent RAF flyovers (as the cabin sits within the “Mach Loop”) were superb and we enjoyed watching the working farm in action from afar. The cabin was immaculately clean and tidy and we found ourselves feeling right at home throughout our stay. We will definitely be returning here to enjoy the peace and quiet that the excellent location and lack of connectivity offer. Hats off to the hosts - they have provided a truly fantastic experience here that anyone looking to get away from the day to day rush should exploit.

Absolutely nothing!

This little cabin is an absolute gem. It is affordable as some are extremely expensive. However, this didn't lack a single thing. Amazingly clean with everything you need. The views and sheer tranquil surroundings are breathtaking. We loved waking up to the silence and looking out to the field and waterfall . The log cabin and hot tub was a lovely luxury. Thank you to the lovely owners who were on hand for extra kindling and even checked in (via txt) if we were OK. The entire area is so private and secure for our very happy puppy who actually refused to get in the car when it was time to go home. He has never done that before! The stunning walks around are something else, and the views, even in winter, are stunning. Seeing the snow tipping the mountains was something else. The hot tub was so lovely being fire heated, unlike your usual bubbly electric ones it was magical just listening to the owls in the background and watching the stars. They had the perfect amount of light so you could watch the stars without light pollution. The owner was so helpful also making this a lovely surprise for my husband putting some happy birthday banners, balloons, prosecco, and chocolates in the room.. he was really chuffed. Thank you so much. We absolutely loved it.

This is not what we didn't like, just ideas for the future. A wellie box for outside just so you don't have to bring in muddy wellies as we were conscious of how beautifully clean it was. A small hand hoover , however the brush did the job to collect the bits of firewood from the floor. An axe to make the wood smaller, some of the logs died the fire down.. however, the owner came to our rescue.

"The perfect place to unwind"

9.0

After a busy Christmas period, we wanted to get away for a couple of days and relax, and this tiny house didn't disappoint. The location and views are spectacular, with waterfalls rolling off the hills and sheep/pheasants etc right outside your window. The house is very cosy with the log burner, and a well equipped kitchen. Kettle, Fridge, Toaster, Microwave and a twin induction hob are provided, as well as some cooking essentials like oil/salt/pepper. The garden is fully enclosed, ideal if you're bringing a pet, with a gas BBQ, fire pit, and outdoor seating. The wood fired hot tub is the perfect place to unwind, and is plenty hot enough even in the middle of winter (if anything it adds to the experience). Stargazing after dark here is a must since there is zero light pollution. Whilst internet/phone signal is almost non existent, which you might prefer, you can get a good signal with EE. We used our mobile WiFi to connect the provided smart TV and stream Netflix absolutely fine, although Freesat is also provided. Thanks for a lovely stay!

"Lovely and peaceful anniversary weekend getaway"

9.0

The view was stunning, waking up to mountains, streams and sheep. The cabin was very clean and really cozy. Fresh linens and treats on arrival. We had some issues with keeping the fire burning for the hot tub but the owners were so lovely in helping us get it sorted. Dog friendly and an amazing escape from the world with no internet. Just the chance to exist in nature. Will definitely book again.
