Casita at Bison Ridge

Very nice location and comfortable, well furnished and decorated unit

We arrived about 4:30 pm ready to prepare our dinner and found housekeeping had not been there. The owner was very responsive and reached out to them, however, It was 7:30 before unit was ready. It was disappointing to miss a relaxing evening after a long drive. I would recommend the owner have a system in place to make sure his crew has the home ready for guests.

The property had 2 bedrooms/2 full bathrooms. The primary bedroom had a king-sized bed and ensuite with a walk-in shower. The back porch was very nice with seating for 4. Loved the reclining loveseats in the family room. Ample parking available.

The outdoor propane grill was unusable. A nest of mice?? had been living inside the grill when we went to use it. The rental has a drip coffee maker to use. But no ground coffee was available. Every rental we've stayed at within the past few years, has a Keurig coffee maker, with K-cups available, as it is more convenient to brew one cup at a time.

The Casita is absolutely lovely. The decor is charming. So quiet. The bed was super comfy. Our host was responsive to our communication. Went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We will rent again!

The location was great as I didn't want to be in town on the main street. We were visiting friends camped at Fool Hollow Lake and this was just the location. It was close to the entrance to the park. I really like staying at a house type facility instead of hotel. Much more comfortable.

We were kind of short on paper products. There was no paper towel in the kitchen and if we had been there much longer we would have run out of toilet paper. We found the TV confusing to use as previous it appeared as though previous guests had loaded apps and it was difficult to see what was free for the unit. The streaming was OK but I still find a cable or satellite TV easier to use. I also miss having access to the local news station. There was nothing in the bedrooms to put our luggage on. Fortunately there was just 2 of us so we used the bed in the 2nd bedroom to lay out our luggage.

Charming condo, loved the rustic cabin feeling. Beds were comfortable and there was enough space for our family of 4. Kitchen was well stocked. Only wish we had enough time to use the outdoor patio but we were there for our sons baseball tournament so we didn't get much down time at the condo.

Didn't get check in information as promised a few days before and realized halfway on the drive we didn't have anything to unlock the door. Luckily when we got a moment to have cell coverage we messaged the host and got immediate response for door code and check in details.

Lovely property. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Kitchen was very well equipped. Clean and neat.

Nothing can be done about the highway noise.
