The Bed and sheets were clean. I like the idea of hostel with karaoke bar. (But in this case it has a negative side)

For the first time, I had to cancel a stay. As I travel a lot, I stay in hostels a lot. But this was the worst of them all. I already had a few experiences with bad and cheap hostels. But this one topped them all. No security, no cleanliness. Fix these problems. The sanitary facilities are dirty and run-down. No toilet paper in the toilet. No shampoo or shower gel in the showers. Only empty bottles. The showers are on the roof in a wooden building and directly in front of the "lounge". When I came out of the shower there was a man in only in shorts sitting on the couch. Absolutely unpleasant. What is this????? Either shower or "lounge". Not both together! There is no women's area! It is a large room with a wooden box (walls do not go up to the ceiling) and curtains. Anyone can enter the room. Anyone!!! Even people from the street, because the door is always open. Anyone can enter the house and can go to the sleeping area. Absolutely unsafe. As there is also a karaoke bar, guests can also enter the bedroom. The staff told me, there are cameras. Wow...Great!!! But it doesn't help me if someone else can get into the building, steal my valuables, or worst case... attack the guests (as a women, i have to think about these cases). By the way....the lockers are made of wood, are not secure and are also in poor condition. The karaoke bar is blaring all night long. It's too loud. I like the idea of a hostel and karaoke bar, but not if the guests can't sleep. No noise insulation! Fix that. The employees also sleep in the dormitory (at least that's what the sign in front of the sleeping box said). Doesn't really bother me. But one of the ladies staff threw up half the night after her stay in the bar (and it was damn loud!!! many times!). Must be the alcohol. She snored loudly for the rest of the night. I had earplugs in, and i still heard everything!! The kitchen and washing machine are also on the roof.

Close to the airport

No real rooms and the facilities are so so

The location was good. Bed is also comfy. There is a refrigerator. A few bus stops nearby, a restaurant as well. Train station is a 12 minute walk.

Smell of smoking everywhere. Check in on a bar. Unorganized facilities. Men and women don’t have separate spaces as mentioned. Shower is small and dirty with amenities running out. And its quite noisy.

It was close to the airport and very convenient

The host was very nice he let me check in late after my flight. For £6 it’s good value. Just a place to stay. Very close to the airport. It felt more like SE Asia than Japan hostels.

It was a bit scary going through the basement to get to the rooms. The light wouldn’t turn off so I couldn’t sleep and the air con wouldn’t work or wasn’t very strong. There’s no rooms just like walls dividing the place with curtains. Not a bad place to stay at all for £6 but I didn’t get a good night sleep. Again, you get what you pay for so £6 for a bed isn’t bad at all.
