GBI can’t comment on the apartment I booked, because they put me in apartment 101 instead of 201. That was a ground floor apartment with fewer windows, all of which were tinted, a different layout and different furniture. By the time I was aware of this it was the afternoon I was due to check in, and no time to find an alternative.
I can’t comment on the apartment I booked, because they put me in apartment 101 instead of 201. That was a ground floor apartment with fewer windows, all of which were tinted, a different layout and different furniture. By the time I was aware of this it was the afternoon I was due to check in, and no time to find an alternative. I didn’t like being given a different apartment to the one I booked. I chose it for multiple reasons, but being able to sit and work by the window was key. The one I was put in was missing equivalent furniture and didn’t have windows you could see out of. The fridge was set so cold my milk froze. They offered to let me switch to a different apartment midway through my stay, or have some extra furniture brought in. Neither acceptable. The room on the whole was also tatty, the floor damaged, and there were ants on the worktop.
GBclean, well equipped, great location, easy to access
very creaky floorboards in flat directly above bedroom - and location of their bathroom. was quite a disturbed night - leading to the rather low comfort score given. I was unlucky that the occupant of the upper flat was up so much in the night.
THLocation is good. The bathroom is very good.
The chairs are nearly broken.
FRLocation
The flat has no washing machine despite what is said in the description. I contacted the service to find a solution and I never got a reply
GBOverall a nice flat, short walk from city centre,
Key code to front door. Someone couldn't get back in during the night and made a lot of noise about it, always prefer a door key from a key box. If I came back would avoid room on ground floor as accommodation is door is next to the building front door where you hear people in and out at all times.
AUFantastic location, super easy to walk into Oxford and ground floor. Slightly back from the main road so very quiet. Bedroom very comfortable - I’m a shocking sleeper and I slept really well here. Heating worked perfectly and nice kitchen and bathroom.
Minor really - some things in the kitchen were a bit worn and could do with updating but honestly it was a great stay.

GBThe location was great for walking into Oxford, nice pub literally opposite with good food.
The apartment I had booked was changed by the host at 3.10pm, we were given a downstairs apartment, which was unfinished, with dirty walls and dirty furniture. It felt very unclean and unloved. The kitchen had random equipment which was dirty and had been stacked up in the cupboards, nothing matched. The windows were frosted and covered; we had no daylight in the apartment and could not see outside. There was no sound proofing so you could hear every noise from the apartment above, which got louder during the night and went on for hours, so we had limited sleep for the entire stay and did not feel safe. I tried to contact the hosts to explain the situation they choose to ignore the questions I asked on the noise, cleanliness and windows. However, they did drop off a hairdryer which was listed as standard on the advert but wasn't in the apartment on arrival, this was appreciated as I hadn't brought mine from home.
