Casa Melina! Historic house in Locorotondo

Fabulous renovation of an old home, with tasteful flooring, bathrooms, good oven and induction cooktop in a well equipped kitchen. Ample coffee capsules, breakfast biscuits, complimentary wine and beer in the fridge. Shampoo and body wash, laundry detergent, maybe from past guests but available. Great to have the rooftop garden for relaxing in the evening or sun baking, and drying washing. No hesitation to recommend this well located, very homely and clean accommodation.

No issue for us but some guests might find the three flights of stairs a challenge. We didn't use the third floor bedroom but head room is lacking there. No negatives for our stay.

What a fantastic week we had at Casa Melina. Everything was just perfect!! Beautiful historic house in the center of Locorotondo. And beautifully decorated and clean inside. Compliments to our host Mario. Highly recommended as a base for exploring the beautiful surroundings.

It was unique in its design with it being a very old townhouse type of building. Perfectly located in an area with loads of restaurants within walking distance. The rooftop seating area is also a lovely touch.

Absolut fantastisch! Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt. Alles war unglaublich sauber, toll eingerichtet mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Lage ist perfekt- ruhig, aber dennoch nah an allem, was man braucht. Ein besonderes Highlight war jedoch Mario: ausgesprochen freundlich, zuverlässig und jederzeit erreichbar. Er hat viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben, damit ist unser Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen geworden. Danke lieber Mario! Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

The stairs are quite tricky with a suitcase, and the second bedroom is a loft

The apartment is very well equiped and spacious! Mario is a friendly host that gives you all the information you need, the welcoming bottle of wine was very delicious! The location is also great with the roofterrace as a big plus. Locorotondo itself is really cozy with enough options for diner and the village is nearby a lot of other nice places to visit.

Maybe some pillows for the chairs on the roof terrace, but you can also grab some from downstairs in the apartment. And a little table on the roof terrace.

The apartment is spacious and located in the center of the old city. We were able to always find free parking spots at about 10-15 mins walking distance from the apartment.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso a Casa Melina. Ringraziamo di cuore l’host per averci coccolato con piacevoli doni lasciati in casa e, soprattutto, per la grande disponibilità mostrata nei nostri confronti: un gesto bellissimo e tipico della sua calorosa ospitalità. La casa è accogliente e curata, e la terrazza è un vero surplus con la sua vista poetica su Locorotondo. Consigliatissimo!
