The host family is so lovely and helpful, the meals and the hospitality are unmatched. We had such a wonderful stay!

I can't even imagine finding such a nice place for such a low cost.

Une famille très accueillante et disponible pour vous aider à passer un super séjour. L'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Anuradhapura tout en évitant l'effervescence de la ville. Possibilité de louer des vélos et de prendre ses repas sur place. Le riz curry préparé par la famille est excellent !

Beautiful property by the lake and jungle. I loved biking to main attractions. Room was comfortable and breakfast / dinner was so delicious! Family very nice and good vibes.

You will need tuktuk to get places unless you bike. Owner can drive you around which was nice, and you can eat their home cooked meals

Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, shuttelservice, gutes Essen, Fahrradverlei, nur 3,5 km zu den Tempelanlagen, äußerst ruhige Lage inmitten der typischen Dschungel-Villages. Das nächste Mal gerne wieder Forest View Homestay.

Lovely family, what a teamwork! Always local food at our disposal whenever needed. The host is always willing to help plan trips and guide you for a really great price (i recommend the afternoon mihintale trip). Great environment in the jungle aswell, we even saw a giant forrest squirrel while eating. Tip: go for a walk arround the closest lake to see some monkeys and birds play around in the magnificent trees. Oyeah wilpatu safari is amazing aswell!

Die Familie war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir waren 2 Nächte da (in dem Zimmer mit A/C). Der Gastgeber hat mit uns eine Tour zu Mihintale gemacht für 5.000LKR. Das war super. Er hat auch wunderschöne Zwischenstopps für uns gemacht und ist auf jeden unserer Wünsche eingegangen. Wir haben zudem in der Unterkunft essen gebucht. Es war lecker und abwechslungsreich. Wir konnten traditionelle Gerichte probieren. Vegetarisch war kein Problem! Einiges war Vegan! Klima funktionierte sehr gut. In der Dusche haben wir nicht herausfinden können wie man das Wasser warm stellt. Für uns gab’s einfach eine kalte Dusche war auch okay so. Der Gastgeber hat uns zudem eine Safari organisiert. Er hat uns ebenfalls geholfen den richtigen Bus zu finden etc. Insgesamt sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht.

Die Unterkunft ist etwas hellhörig. Dafür kann die nette Familie natürlich nichts! Einfach Ohrstöpsel und man kann prima schlafen.
