Nomad inn Tiwi

Wir waren im vorderen neuen Teil des Hotels. Es ist ca. 3 min mit dem Auto vom ersten Hotel entfernt. Alles ist noch ziemlich neu, sehr sauber und das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden wieder hin fahren.

Das Hotel ist noch ziemlich neu und der Garten ist noch nicht so märchenhaft zugewachsen wie beim ursprünglichen Hotel, zu welchem man zum Abendessen fährt.

Alles super! Schöne Lage am Eingang des Wadi Tiwi. Sehr freundliches Personal.

There was a leak in our bedroom toilet which was not fixed during our stay despite of our request The breakfast is equivalent to a budget hotel, well below what you would expect for a place that is more expensive than the Sheraton in Muscat. Lowest quality artificial orange juice money can buy. Fruits are limited to bananas, watermelon and a few pre-cut slices of apples. Plain sliced bread from supermarket. Packaged jam. Few hot dishes left in the cold morning weather were awfully cold. Eggs, cook to order were good. Drip coffee included. Good coffee from a proper espresso machine charged as extras. New section of the hotel is not a short walking distance to a proper hotel restaurant for breakfast or dinner. Good ambience but no special view of the Wadi.

Le déclassement dans le Albir, deuxième choix par rapport de Nomad Inn qui lui est bien situé et possède les prestations nettement supérieures. Nous avons été déclassé 2 semaines avant notre arrivée sous prétexte que Nomad Inn était plein alors que nous avons réservé dans cette hôtel en novembre. Très mauvaise politique commerciale. En dédommagement nous avons beaucoup négocié et obtenu la demi-pension gratuite. La douche était bouchée avec les cheveux, les serviettes très usées et la salle de bain est vétuste. La chambre bien décorée, les lits sont bons mais l’espace est petit. Trop cher pour le prix payé. Pas de dîner sur place, il faut faire 3 km pour dîner à Nomad Inn Tawi.

Lovely staff and beautiful room.

The booking was a little misleading - after booking we were told we were going to be staying at their other hotel (nomad inn tiwi albir) but they assured us it was ”only a few metres away” and the two hotels really ”feel like one hotel”. On arrival we learned we had to drive 6 minutes to the other hotel every night for dinner. Not a big deal, but inconvenient if you don’t have a car, and I probably wouldn’t have booked it if I had known from the start. The mattress was also very hard.

Frühstück ist ausbaufähig und lag bei dem Preis der Unterkunft unter unseren Erwartungen. Ein Schild in der Zufahrt hätte uns geholfen, die Unterkunft zu finden

The location of this hotel is perfect if you are visiting Wadi Tiwi, Wadi Shab, the village or the sea. Farhan made us feel welcomed from the very first moment. He was a shining light during our stay. Always ready with a warm smile and a friendly hello....his hospitality was excellent! All of the other staff we had contact with were genuinely kind and attentive. The property is a true oasis. Nestled in the desert with a lovely pool and lush greenery. We stayed in the last dome up top and it was perfection! It was so quiet and we loved the open roof bathroom....nothing like working on your tan while taking a shower! Inside the dome was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the shower water hot. Both the dinner and the breakfast were on site and delicious. We walked away satisfied and appreciated the dishes that were authentic to Oman. Would recommend the Nomad Inn without hesitation. Thank you again to Farhan for making our stay fantastic!

Die Lage, nur 5min von wadi shab. Das Personal ist sehr, sehr freundlich. Prinzipiell auch eine gute Unterkunft, allerdings nicht zu dem Preis, wie unter den negativen Punkten aufgeführt.

Die Lage wird ziemlich ausgenutzt, um deutlich übertriebene Preise zu verlangen. Wir haben 83 OMR für ein Zimmer gezahlt, welches so klein war, dass man kaum ums Bett laufen konnte. Wir waren zudem nicht wie erwartet im Haupthaus, sondern wurden alternativlos ins 2 km entfernte Partnerhotel eingecheckt. Sie sagten es sei neu, jedoch handelt es sich unserer Meinung nach um ein bestehendes Hotel, welches renoviert wurde. Das Bad ist alt geblieben. Das Matratze war sehr hart, dass wir uns fragen, ob überhaupt eine Matratze darauf liegt. Das Frühstück war eher einfach.

The breakfast was disappointing. It was quite pricey.
