"Very comfortable room the bed was extremely comfortable and roomy. Food brilliant"

Excellent and varied choice of breakfast and not stinted. Service was good and the staff really helpful. We only had dinner one night but that was very good with plenty of choice. Nice quiet out of town location

"Very Good"

7.0

Location was convenient for our trip. Food was good and the staff at breakfast were very helpful. Room was spacious

Thought decor was a little tired and could have done with a referb. Not saying that it required a large overhaul just repair of items that were worn e.g. bench seats in the bar had holes in them where the fabric had worn through

"A great find in the countryside. Highly recommended."

9.0

Lovely village in the countryside, with this great pub cum hotel. Two large car parks. Easy distances to Kings Lynn, Norfolk Broads, Norfolk Coast and Thetford Forest, and a city, whose name escapes me. Good breakfast and an extensive dinner menu. Some good ales served, Norfolk does have good beers. The best bit. We visited to see our football team. We won.

It was all good, but the bathroom probably needed a shelf and the overhead shower was a bit hot and then cold. But there was another shower option via the taps.

"Friendly, comfortable, great food and service and big bonus dog friendly too 😊🐾"

8.0

Welcoming, dog friendly, comfortable, good food, good service, friendly staff, great breakfast.

The only very slight draw back is wooden parts of the building are a little tired/in need of refurb.

"Truly lovely experience"

10.0

So lovely old place, much better than I expected. Staff was friendly, using the restaurant /pub was easy and convenient while staying the night.

The rooms are of course a bit outdated. The style sort of works with the old inn and all but changing the stained beige carpet to hard wood floor and cleaning the grouts (mold) in bathroom would upgrade the rooms a lot!

"Perfect relaxing place to stay in a deservedly popular pub with separate quiet accommodation block."

10.0

The room was like home from home. Very comfortable wide bed, spacious room and en-suite, 2 lovely comfy armchairs to relax in after a long journey. Tea and coffee making facilities. Room and parking easy to access. Lots of quirky little rooms in the pub, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, plenty of choice for evening meals. Play park on site for little ones and woodland walks nearby. Buzzing popular place deservedly so.
