We received a warm welcome & the place had a very cosy vibe, which we loved. The pub was full of interesting artefacts; the staff were all excellent & the rooms were well appointed & had everything we required. Would definitely recommend.

The staff and locals were friendly and welcoming. The food was good and the staff were very accommodating with my dietary requirements (being dairy free was not a problem). We couldn't fault the cleanliness of the room and the daily room service was an unexpected bonus. The bed was very comfy and it was nice to see crisp white bed linen and soft white towels, along with complimentary toiletries.

My only minor negative was the decor was a bit dated (personal opinion) and the paintwork could do with a refresh. However, this said it didn't take away from a good stay.
