Pine Shima Resort Coral Fish

The hotel, set in nature amid farms and animals, provides a peaceful retreat. Our comfortable room featured a lovely balcony, and there was a dining area with a kettle for tea or coffee. We truly appreciated our host's warmth and kindness.

Very quiet location

Clean, comfortable simple room, with basic amenities. Friendly hosts, especially the wife. Setting is small, picturesque rural village in agricultural area beside the ocean, far from Ishigaki town. Peaceful and serene. Should be very quiet, except that frogs (I think they were frogs) were really loud at night in the creek nearby (I slept with the terrace door open). I think that would only be an issue certain times of the year 😊.

If you’re using Goggle Maps, you might try entering “Painushima Resort Coral Fish” to get better directions. The guest house is actually in Akaishi Village, not Ibaruma, and is just north of the elementary school, the biggest and most visible building in town.
