Holiday House with garden and sauna 10 pounds for Sauna

We loved the apartment and especially the Sauna. We met the owner and he was lovely. He also ran the Haunted House which was fantastic. Even if it took us a while to get our heart rate back to normal.

There was nothing we didnt like. The place was great 👍

Double bedroom smelled of a damp wet dog cheesy smell. We couldn't locate where it was coming from. We asked our other guests who agreed it had a horrific smell. It was so bad it woke me up in the night several times. The outside shelter full of Christmas stuff and decorations was not appealing as a holiday let. The towels were really.scratchy.

Lovely home with plenty of space and facilities. Rooms were really comfortable and cosy.

My only disappointment was around communication. The information on Booking.com stated check-in was between 2-3. We received a message asking for confirmation, to which I stated between 2-3. On the day of arrival, we received a message to say check in was from 4pm. I replied asking if earlier was possible, but had no reply. I also left a phone charger at the house but never received a reply from the hosts when I queried. Its no problem, but the lack of communication would perhaps put me off booking again.

The rooms were warm and comfortable.

This was the perfect location for an overnight stop while we were driving the North Coast 500. The property was spotlessly clean. Everything worked. The beds were comfortable. The location was great - 5 minutes from the beach, some interesting history around the area and on the site itself. Very quiet. We met Phil briefly - a great host - and our communication before we stayed was also excellent. Excellent garden for our dogs.
