Beach Road Apartments by Urban Rest

Location, the Apartment itself had good amenities.

Although ok...the Apartment needed a good clean. There were stains on the couch, and just overall it seemed that most surfaces could have done with a really good wipe down. The bathroom had a funny smell , think it was the drain and the Apartment too. I kept the doors and windows open as much as possible

Stayed in apartment 1004 Key pick up is less than 5 min walk to apartment. LOCATION was key to our stay as we were attending a concert at Spark Arena which is less than a 5min walk straight across from the apartment. The apartment catered to all our needs and was very well stocked with cutlery crockery etc for at least 4 people as well as the balcony. As it's situated on a main drag the traffic can be quite noisy but didn't affect our stay. Lots of restaurants from a 5 - 15min walk depending on what you want to eat. Woolworths is also about a 5min walk from apartment. Shower pressure is awesome. Very convenient having a washer/dryer. I will stay again next time I'm in Auckland!

NO PARKING is a hassle. There is paid parking across the road from apartment (Secure Parking) which I advise to look into ASAP. There is quite a few paid parking around which you will either have to walk or uber/taxi back to apartment. There are a few LZ parks a few meters from apartment if you want to unload your bags. NO AIR CON which was annoying. We had such good weather that it was stifling in the apartment. 2/3 fans were working and were only circulating hot air. WIFI wasn't going on arrival (after 6pm) Due to time no one could come and fix it until morning. If I hadn't of rang again the following morning would never had known WIFI was up and running. Couldn't get Freeview working in lounge. (Smart TV in lounge including a Chrome Cast). Again rang help line and quite a few hours later technician came and fixed. TV in front bedroom seems to be there for decoration as it didn't go at all. Technician couldn't fix as not a Smart TV. He was giving feedback to Urban Rest. OVERALL very poor communication regarding WIFI/TV issues.

Place was great and cozy.

Great location and so close to Spark Arena, within walking distance to Queen Street and harbour precinct Woolworth supermarket is about 5 mins walk.. lovely balcony to see the sunrise with coffee in the morning. Nespresso machine available too

TV didn't work - maybe we didn't follow the instructions properly but it's quite dated.. not a big issues unless you have kids to entertain etc.. we didn't

Very well located, walking distance from city center and close to public transport, groceries store was 5 minutes away too. Appartment was clean and well equipped!

The room next to the kitchen stays pretty bright at night due to the lights in the hallway; I would suggest bringing an eye mask. The room at the front is pretty noisy ( busy streets and the port worker were working all night when we were there) I would suggest bringing earbuds if you are a light sleeper.

Loved everything

I loved everything but there are some things that need to be fixed such as the wobbly dining table and light in the bathroom.

Beds were comfortable

The room was cold ,uncomfortable seating ,no milk ,4 sachet of coffee ,way over priced Payed a holding fee which wasn’t brought to my attention ,they took the money straight away Was told I would receive it in 5 days after check out Then told 7 - 10 days Took the money straight away ,so why should I have to wait ,very poor
