There wasn’t really anything I didn’t like

What a wonderful little stay as a solo traveller. I have felt so safe and very well looked after by the owner Beth. The grounds themselves and views are nothing short of magical for me...rolling green hills, cute on site farm animals and night skies that will blow your socks off! The hot tub was a wonderful touch and very easy to manage with help from Beth. Stargazing in hot water with a glass of wine, what more do you need in life. Perfection! The kitchen and bathroom facilities are like a 10 second walk from the hut which wasn't a problem for me because I'm not precious and to be honest the fairy light fencing was very cute to walk along at night time. Beth has everything you need when it comes to cutlery and crockery, even a ninja cooker!! There's a mini BBQ and fire pit which I made good use of in the evening with my babybels and marshmallows to snack on and romanticise my stay. The hut is very cute...it was a very cool April night and the bedding would keep you warm in an Antarctic igloo, very soft too! A mega comfy bed and all immediate essentials inside the hut with added extras. I enjoyed having the option of popping the radio on the TV. The location is fantastic. Near to waterfalls and lakes a short drive away, which I will be sampling on my paddleboard today- Beth has great advice of the local attractions and is happy to answer any questions. If you are a boujee camper or like the rustic simpler things in life and want to be in the middle of nowhere, but still feel safe with a little civilisation of sheep and birds, then this is the place for you. You will not regret booking!!! Amazing place!!! I will absolutely be back again.

lovely little place, so nice being in and around wildlife with bird watching spot and very cute chickens! loved the hot tub.

a few more instructions on arrival could be fab i.e technique for warming hot tub, where light switches for fairy lights are!

Gorgeous views, lovely and cosy lodge! Perfect spot for a peaceful night away.
