Viola Nature Retreat

Having stayed at (Stella) Nature Retreat for four nights and reading all the reviews, I do not understand all the "fantastic" and "amazing" reviews. So, in order to help both you future guests and perhaps the host, I set out to write an honest review. The good, the bad and the opportunities (I will skip the ugly). The good: 1. This place is clean! Both the room and shared kitchen was clean. The kitchen is cleaned on a daily basis. Everything but the cucumber in the fridge from previous visitors that was barely recognisable and half way in it's process to re-incarnate as a soup. 2. The view was very nice - though only from the balcony. The view from the window was disappointing (unless you like to look at a wall of bushes). 3. The location was great - a quiet area just outside Belluno, and hour away from Venice and Punta Rocca. 4. God Bless that airco. We could keep the windows closed and keep the insects out, and still sleep soundly.

The bad: 1. As mentioned before the view from the room is very poor. About 4-5 meter from the window you stare at the mountain/hill, full of bushes. 2. The interior decoration is not done with style. Hell, I'm no interior decorator, but a too-small desk with ugly plastic chair, a sleeping couch (that sits like shit and sleeps even worse) - man, it's such a shame! The rooms are spacious, you can do so much more with the space you have! And oh yeah: put in a descent fridge while you're at it. 3. The bathroom lay-out from our room was too cramped. We couldn't even open the door normally and the shower was too small for comfort. 4. There was an espresso machine in the room, but no water boiler. And only a few paper cups for espresso. Missed opportunity. 5. There wasn't a place to store clothes/bags. Only a shelf and a few hangers. 6. Acoustic insulation is poor. You can hear people walking on the floor above. 7. The outside area is poorly kept. This place offers a lot of opportunities, with a bunch of quick wins. Put a few small tables and chairs on the balcony so you can enjoy your coffee and the beautiful view of the landscape. Create a lounging area outside maybe? Re-decorate the rooms, and this place jumps from a 6 to a 8+ (in my humble opinion).

struttura veramente bella e pluita, ogni comfort essenziale e necessario era presente al suo interno. phon, ferro da stiro, asse. macchina del caffe’. le chiavi si prendono in autonomia, ci son due piani di appartamenti e due cucine in comune. stanza spaziosa, bagno dotato di una bella doccia, pulizia eccezionale. noi abbiam soggiornato con il nostro amico a 4 zampe il fatto d’avere una stanza cosi’ grande l’ha sicuramente apprezzato avendo agio per muoversi tranquillamente. veramente ottima struttura!💪🏻👍🏻

La camera, la posizione il rapporto qualità prezzo.

Non sono stati chiari che per accedere alla camera bisogna fare il check in prima.( per ricevere il codice d'accesso). La tessera per la corrente ( bianca) e posizionata su una cosa bianca che loro la chiamano quadro. Per me è tutto tranne quadro. Ho fatto fatica a trovarla.

Tutto fantastico, meraviglioso

La camera è comoda e abbastanza grande, con tre finestre. Molto silenzioso ma isolato, si esce solo in macchina.

Non c'è nessun turno di pulizie e cambio di biancheria se non con un extra.
