My Resort Yala

The resort is in a quiet, rural area but it is sooo worth making the effort to get there if you can. There are only four rooms to rent but they are spotlessly clean and spacious. I loved the fact there were mosquito nets as I'm a magnet for mozzies! I personally loved all the extra attention to details that the owner provided, like a comb, chairs to sit on rather than just the bed and a large container of water. The view was beautiful over a paddy field and I really wanted to jump into the pool but we were tight on time. We chose to get dinner there that night which was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend this place and encourage you to stay as long as you can!

I honestly can't think of anything negative to say, other than the card machine wasn't working when we went to pay. Luckily we scraped up enough cash between us to pay and to leave a tip.

Diese Unterkunft hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Sie ist noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. Das Zimmer war riesig, ausserordentlich sauber und hatte sehr viele Extras wie z.B. Bügelbrett, Taschenlampe, Wasserspender, Kaffee, Tee. Der Blick auf die Reisfelder war atemberaubend. Die angebotene Safari-Tour kann ich sehr empfehlen.

Perfekter Aufenthalt in der Nähe vom Safari Park. Der Inhaber des Hotels hat die besten Ranger in Yala. Seine Frau und seine Mitarbeiter sind top! Haben uns so gut betreut. Leckeres Essen gab es oben drauf und wir durften den 50. Geburtstag meiner Freundin ausgiebig im großen Pool feiern. Die Zimmer sind riesengroß und schön eingerichtet. Die ganze Anlage ist perfekt. Mit Blick auf die Reisfelder. Wir haben tolle Safaris erleben dürfen und unfassbar viele Tiere gesehen. Danke für die schöne Zeit! Auch an die Tochter des Hauses! 😍

Big and quiet room, very friendly staff and owner! You can arrange lunch or dinner! We took the dinner option and it was pretty good! Swimming pool, very good option to take a rest after your safari trip!

Only beer at the bar, but it isn’t a disadvantage) but if they have some cocktails it will be much better!)

We loved our stay here, the room, balcony and pool area were all spotless, really clean. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The pool was great for a swim after safari and there is also a rooftop to watch the sunset. There's a fridge with drinks that works on an honor system which is nice. We had dinner here both nights and it was absolutely delicious, one of our favourite meals we have had in Sri Lanka!! The hosts were friendly and helped us with anything we needed. We booked our safari with them, and we had a wonderful experience. Our guide was clearly experienced and we were lucky enough to see a leopard. He was able to accurately predict where we could go to get a better view and we got some really good viewpoints of the leopard. Overall, this hotel was really good value for money and had an amazing view across the rice fields. We had some issues finding the place since the Google maps location was wrong but they responded to my messages promptly and we found it. I think that they updated Google maps now so should no longer be an issue. Would definitely recommend!!

Rooms were clean and comfortable with fan and air conditioning Staff were so nice they booked safari for us also which made the trip very easy

Ein tolles Gästehaus mit viel Platz, einem schönen Pool, einem wunderschönen Ausblick, tollem regionalen Essen und zauberhaften Menschen. Auch die für uns organisierte Safari war ein Traum. Wir können die Unterkunft in jeder Hinsicht wärmstens empfehlen!

Wir hätten uns einen Abzieher für das Bad und ein Insektengitter vor dem Badfenster gewünscht sowie noch je ein kleineres Handtuch pro Person extra.
