"Beautiful cottage on wine farm"

The check-in was super easy. We collected the key at the entrance gate to the wine estate and let ourselves in. The cottage is spacious and well equipped (the kitchen has everything!) and the decor is beautiful but not overstated. Lovely setting with beautiful views, and it is the only cottage of its kind on the farm -- no neighbors no cars.

It is a farm, and Egyptians geese have taken up residence around the nearby dam. Unfortunately, they used the roof over the bedrooms as a landing strip from 5:30 am onwards. The racket was real. I wonder if there is any way to deter them from using the roof as a meeting point...

"Rustic with a modern touch."

Location was so beautiful and peaceful. Old school farm house look and feel with beautiful modern finishes. The beds were super comfy and the heaters and throws were very welcoming. The coffee options, chocolate and wine were appreciated ❤️. The shower was great not to mention the shower gel/shampoo and conditioner. THANK YOU. Great kitchen appliances. Happy there were games instead of TV. Instant hot water.

Understanding that the cottage is on a farm and insects inevitable but brushing down visible webs outside on the fantastic "stoep" before guests arrive would be great. The almost invisible wet and muddy patches around the house. My son loved it though. City boy doesn't get dirty like that often.
