- spacious, clean & cool room (1st floor with mango tree catching a lot of the sun heat) - big & comfy bed - mostly quiet (less traffic noise & expat bars were luckily mainly on the other end of the street) - english speaking staff - wonderful hosts. honest, cute & caring (they well organized smalll missing items quickly, checked in with me a few times and gave me good tips for the surroundings) - back beach, front beach and many restaurants & stores within walking distance (7-15 min.) - it felt like a real home where I could get in and out any time (24/7 access) and had a chit chat with the hosts in-between - the hosts took privacy very seriously (e.g. knocked at the door, left stuff in front of the door, etc.) - I could store my luggage safely at their place while traveling to other places for a few days

- a lot of mosquitos - no small fridge in the room (not a big deal for me this time because I could use the big one downstairs, but this would be a nice feature for people who stay a few days longer and use the kitchen of the room)
