Great location, the room was beautiful, clean , and had everything we needed.

This is a beautifully presented, comfortable and clean accommodation on theme for an Edwardian / Victorian boudoir. The lady running the place is very enthusiastic and proud of all the little touches.. It is a rare find. We had a top floor room which is fine for us- but bear in mind it is a lot of stairs. There is a roll top bath in the room which is in theme and views over the moors. Toiletries are provided as well as an excellent coffee machine with pods. The location is a few minutes to the station and the high street with all the amenities.

The toilet has a wall to protect dignity but it would be nicer if there was also a door. The bath is lovely and there was plenty of hot water but if you prefer a shower then you might not like it. You can do seated with the hand held shower hose. We were fine- but just pointing out what you might not notice. Unfortunately the Gin Rooms downstairs are now closed which is a shame as we would have liked to have visited them. Also because of this there is no-one to greet you on arrival - just a key box which feels very impersonal for this type of establishment

Loved everything about this place. Such a gorgeous little find.

The decor, very quirky, easy instructions for arrival.

No lift, and we were 6 flights of stairs up to our room. Also the downstairs bar was shut until further notice which was very disappointing and not made clear to us prior to booking. Room also very warm, not many windows to open.

Charlene greeted us and showed us to our room. The whole building is an eclectic mix of interesting artifacts. The room was spacious, clean and a lovely view. Great coffee machine. Comfy bed and a very quiet stay. Just what we wanted. Less than 5 minutes walk to the Town Centre. Handy for train station. Lots of shops, restaurants and cafés in the town centre too. It was just a shame that Molly's Gin Bar was temporarily closed. Maybe next time as we will be definitely be back at some point.
