Le lieu est très apaisant et le personnel si gentil, j’avais presque l’impression d’être de la famille ! La chambre était vraiment adorable, et la clim très apprécié !

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed and cared for. The staff here are some of the kindest and most attentive people we’ve ever met — always going out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. The breakfast alone deserves its own praise: fresh, varied, and prepared with so much love and effort every morning. The host is not only a fantastic surf teacher but also an inspiring yoga instructor. His surf classes were effective, fun, and tailored to our level, making us feel confident and safe in the water. Yoga sessions were equally amazing — a perfect way to start the day. What truly sets this place apart is how much the host genuinely cares about his guests. We didn’t just feel like tourists; we felt like part of a home. The atmosphere here is warm, personal, and unforgettable. We recommend this hotel to absolutely everyone, whether you’re here to surf, relax, or just enjoy good company. We’ll definitely be coming back — and next time, staying even longer!

Wunderschöne, abgelegene Anlage mit traumhaftem Ausblick vom Balkon auf Felder, Palmen, Natur und viele Vögel. Besonders schön ist die Dachterrasse, auf der Frühstück und Abendessen serviert werden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker – wahlweise Toast mit Avocado und Eiern oder ein typisch sri-lankisches Frühstück. Abendessen gibt es nach Wunsch (Kosten: 4.000 Rupien) – wir hatten frischen Fisch und Huhn, beides frisch zubereitet und perfekt gewürzt. Wir waren in der Nebensaison dort. Der Gastgeber hat uns für nur 15 Dollar eine private Tour zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten gemacht, sich viel Zeit genommen, alles erklärt und uns wertvolle Tipps für unsere Rundreise gegeben. Kleine Dinge, die uns aufgefallen sind: Die Tür zum Bad schließt nicht, es gab kein Toilettenpapier, keinen Mülleimer und ein Stuhl auf der Terrasse war kaputt. Eigentlich wären es daher 9 Sterne gewesen, aber da der Gastgeber uns nach Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten gefragt hat, sehr bemüht ist und sicher alles behebt, geben wir gerne 10 Sterne.

The young boy who worked in the kitchen seemed like pure gold — 10/10 for him. The guesthouse is in a beautiful location, and I truly hope that the natural surroundings will remain protected.

I honestly didn’t want to write a negative review, but the refusal to take accountability left me with no other choice. I paid extra and the owner refuses to discuss this. The marketing does not match reality. I didn’t get any treatments I asked for. I Got lot of promises, but nothing happened. The place gives the impression of being family-run. One review says the owner lives with his wife; another says it’s run by a young couple. I did not see any woman present at any time. It’s confusing. And If there is problems seems like nobody wants to take responsibility. The experience also left me feeling sad, because I truly believe this guesthouse has potential and could succeed without making unnecessary promises. The host is likely a good person at heart, but has overlooked essential basics in pursuit of income. I have truly hope the owner, the person marketing the place, co-operators— whoever is involved — will make their operations more transparent and fair. Maybe they’ve been blinded by fast growth or ambition. I genuinely wish them well, and that they will welcome many happy guests in the future — guests who leave feeling respected, not misled.

The staff was very friendly, helped us a lot. The food was good and with nice presentation and the place was great value for money.

Parking was outside the hotel, we didn't face any issues but we were a bit concerned.
