I had an excellent night stay here, the staff were truly amazing. The house overall was great, good decor and style, very nice breakfasts, great location (convenient, quiet, safe), good rooms (nice decor and well equipped etc).

The host was very friendly and hospitable. He picked us up from the airport (for €10) at midnight and had tea with us before he showed us to our room. Since we were the only guests, he upgraded our room which was a nice surprise. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and delicious.

The bathroom for the room we originally booked is external, which is not specified on the listing. The site manager, after some negotiation, agreed to put us in a bigger room with internal bathroom so all good in the end. The room was petty noisy (facing a main road), small bathroom, no storage room, no table. The shower was not enclosed so the bathroom gets wet and slippery. Smell of sewage appeared on and off. The price for the room was relatively high compared to other places we stayed throughout the trip. Bottom line we do not recommend it.

Younes the manager of Dar Yan helped arranged great excursions both in dades gorge and merzouga desert, it was unforgettable experience we had in our holiday,exactly the night in luxury camp in sahara merzouga stay at this gem of a place, rather than at a boring modern hotel.
