Knapp Farm Glamping Puki Pod

The facilities were amazing, we had a fridge, little freezer, air fryer, kettle, cups + plates etc, bbq, fire pit. The shared showers and toilets were great and supplied shampoo + c + bw and were really clean! The cafe was also great with lovely staff and games like a pool table. The surrounding area was lovely- we had a little pond next to us with a lovely swinging seat and a big horse stable and some sheep in the neighbouring fields. Ducks greeted us every morning and the views from the pod were amazing.

We went during the heatwave (24-34 degrees) and struggled finding ventilation- having to leave the door open over night because there was so little air in the hot pod. We were supplied a portable radiator and two heated blankets which got in the way in the small cabin- a fan would have been more useful in the cabin. Definitely check the weather before booking but even with the high temperatures we loved our stay and are thinking about coming back in the winter!

Loved the location, the views from the pod, the local pub and the running routes from the location.

Couldn’t pick the WiFi up in the Pod. A little tv with free view would be good.

Lovely pod on a farm. Quiet and relaxing environment, clean showers. Lovely coffee at the cafe. The pod itself was equipped with utensils, kettle, coffee & tea and even an air fryer.

Nothing

the breakfast was a la cart and very good, although very late and expensive. The country setting was pleasant. The cabin was cute. The heating was appropriate.

1. Being that anyone who would bother to come so far is probably going to be active, it would be expected that breakfast could be served earlier than 10:00. If this is not possible, warn the potential bookings of such so that they can shop accordingly, as there are no grocery or bakery options for many, many miles. 2. No lighting to see the toilet/shower facilities at night. 3. *** Extensive rat activity in the walls of the cabin!!! Not just running around, but vicious tearing and scratching...I was unable to sleep, and had to put furniture and other heavy items on the floor where they had managed to tear off the metal floor vent !!! 4. They had a book in the room showing different walks in the area, but when asked how to find them, they were not helpful. One of the owners could not even find his own farm on the map!

The peace and quiet, and having everything I needed. The surroundings are stunning, and facilities are clean and well stocked. Just a fantastic little place to stay where pets are welcome too

There is nothing I didn't like

We have stayed in the Puki pod before, we loved it then and still love the place, very quiet and peaceful, off the beaten track which we love and lots of wildlife to be seen. We can't rate this place highly enough.
