Mill Hill Guest House

Great location, very comfortable and clean.

Hanging space and/or draws would have been handy as no where to put clothes.

The location was very good although we were confused by the East Cowes address as it seemed to be in Cowes with the nice restaurants and shops. We used buses to get around and it was very convenient. It was very clean

There were some hooks on the back of bedroom doors and a hat stand in the hallway but apart from that there was no way to hang clothes or move them out of your luggage. We were unable to get any heat from the boiler which switched on and off during the night waking one of our party for no apparent reason. We did contact the host but he was not interested. For me the beds were very soft but that is a personal choice

Beautifully refurbished and decorated property. Kitchen and bathroom superbly fitted out. (Milk and biscuits appreciated!). A very comfortable and relaxed stay

Only negatives were the sparsely furnished bedrooms and lack of storage. The beds themselves were very comfortable but the bedrooms lacked furniture generally! A chest of drawers and bedside table lamps in all three bedrooms would have made the stay perfect - oh and we couldn’t find the hairdryer!! Apart from that would have given it 10/10

Clean tidy

The house was great. It was very central and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice and big. The host even left us local cookies!

The 2nd-floor room was difficult to sleep in, because even slight movement in the room upstairs would make noise downstairs. The house was also a bit cold, and it took a while to warm up. There was one blanket on the couch that smelled like vomit. The stairs were not great, especially from teh 2nd to the 3rd floor, they are narrower than usual and the steps are very small for regular feet, so not so safe.

The house was comfortable and the location was central, close to shops and restaurants.
