Lovely, clean spacious property. Everything you need to have a comfortable stay and cook for yourselves too apart from a microwave Sarah is a brilliant host as she answers your queries straight away but isn’t intrusive. Beautiful river walk starting by pub with great food and friendly staff

The photo on this site is misleading as it attached and round back of owners property. This photo shows back but you can’t access this area as it’s part of the owners garden. Not clear signs to access it. Not many paths to walk along roads, quite dangerous with dogs and children

Cottage was super clean and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Gorgeous soft, fluffy towels and the most comfortable bed ever - these definitely need a special mention of their own! Great location with a lovely pub at the end of the road, and plenty of dog walks from the front door. Owner was really helpful and friendly, and make us feel instantly welcome. Highly recommend for a peaceful weekend away.

Whilst there is a chest of drawers in the bedroom, there is no hanging space. This wasn't a problem for us as we were only there for the weekend, but clothes storage in the bedroom may be tricky if staying for a week or longer.

Very tastefully decorated, and cosy. The relaxing quietness and pleasant walks nearby were great

For a week microwave towels were hard

Everything, La Rose is charming, contemporary and very comfortable, Jackie is the most gracious host and very sweet, thank you for letting me stay, if I’m working in the area again La Rose is at the top of my list
