Lovely hosts and located away from any noise, very peaceful

Was in a quiet location .

The wooden floors creaked a lot on walking on them not sure if this disturbs room no 2. Otherwise very comfortable.

I really like the staff at the venue. All of them were super helpful, friendly and made us feel at home. They really made the place which was average at best unfortunately.

I think the photos on the site were not an accurate representation of the place. This was unfortunate because you use the photos to make a decision. But as I said luckily the people made up for a lot of the disappointment. The little restuarant/coffee shop was magnificent and homely which was nice.

The comfort of the room, the lovely dinner that the staff put in the room, & the friendliness of the staff.

The location is ideal if you want to get away from everyday life. You'll find the place as it is mentioned in the pictures and the reviews. If happy with no TV but wifi available. Very peaceful and dead quiet at night, with no traffic noise.

The host was communicative and helpful, she organised food to be available for dinner on my arrival. I liked the room and the bed was comfortable, plus the location is pretty remote but easy to access. The dip pool was available to use on my last night, which was a nice option. Having a fan in the room was also useful, as it got pretty hot!

The WiFi was patchy, which isn't what I expected or ideal when travelling solo. You could get better WiFi at the farm shop, which was a 5-minute walk up the road.

Nice location, historical building. Nice braai facilities. Beds were comfy.

It is a lot more run down than the pictures show. The photos on the website seem very out of date.
