GBGBGBGBGBi absolutely loved my stay here. The place is stunning modern conversion that feels high-end and homely, with loads of open space, natural light, and thoughtful touches everywhere. It’s one of those homes where you keep noticing little design details that make you smile. The location was perfect — just a short walk (10–15 minutes) into Eyemouth, which is a proper working fishing village with loads of charm and character. It feels like a real hidden gem, and it’s surprisingly easy to get to from Edinburgh. My room was super comfortable, really spacious, and had that quiet, peaceful feel you only get in places that have been really well put together. Everything was immaculate and the whole place just has this calm, lux vibe. Apparently, it was a finalist in the Best Homes in Scotland awards — and you can absolutely see why. It’s the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel relaxed. I’ll definitely be back!

Cleanliness was a major problem. Sink was blocked 🚫 cupboards were dirty, cobwebs on the ceiling and skirting boards were dirty. Seats in the living room were dirty. Window was dirty. The fridge wasn’t on and there was a wire sticking out the bedroom wall and towels had holes in them. Bathroom door was see through and instructions for the tv would have helped as we aren’t tech savvy!!! One more thing we noticed was the camera above the front internal door which we should have been made aware of. P.S the decking was lovely but could have been doing with some TLC
GBThe bedroom and bathroom were very badly designed. Not one single surface in either room to put things on, ie, toiletries, toothbrushes, cups, bags. No cupboards or wardrobe for storage, we had to leave our cases on the floor with our clothes in. Only 2 single hangers stuck to the wall. .Mirrors weren't any good for full length view. Lighting for bathroom only accessible from far end of bedroom which was a problem during the night. Extractor fan in bathroom very loud and stayed on forever. Paper cups and no teaspoons. I've never seen a paper cup in a B and B. No drinking glasses.And for the price we paid I would have expected some sort of breakfast. Wasn't made clear while booking that it was room only.
GBWhy ask how breakfast was when there isn't one. The room was exceedingly hot not helped by the towel rail in the shower on maximum during the hottest day of the year so far. One used paper coffee cup, no tea spoon, no cups, the bed looked as though it has not been changed or either badly ironed I will hopefully go with the latter. No instructions on room for tv, coffee machine, Wi-Fi or contact details for owner. Room 1 is not ground floor as requested. Garden on walking around was full of dog excrement which got on both our shoes.
