Las Olas Beach Resort

The food at the restaurant was very good and presented well. The proximity to the beach was great.

It's off season and maintenance seemed to be more important than guests. The pool was not clean and would have been nice to use, but, didn't feel comfortable getting into a green pool. One even had a crab on the bottom. No Lounge chairs were available at the pool or open bar. The beach was great with only a few other visitors. Potential is there...needs updating in the rooms.

This is an older resort, mostly for promotion but the owners live on the property so the restaurant is excellent, cows mooing on one side and waves crashing on the other......DO NOT GO IN THE OCEAN....The staff is excellent, show them love with good tips and your time there will be much more enjoyable!

this was, maybe, my 20th time staying here... as always the staff are freindly and considerate! The property is getting a bit dated.. but overall the rooms have been updated and are extremely comfortable! The food is pretty consistently good! We love the traquility and peacefulness of the resort!

The grounds and outside of the resort are a bit neglected and dated... but over all it is a beautiful space.

Felt alone nobody was there...empty

All rooms had an ocean view and a small porch with chairs and tables facing the ocean. Walls in between gave a sense of added privacy and seclusion. All doors were keyed with a combination deadbolt when locking door. Laundry services were very prompt and fairly priced. Food was ok, good ceviche. Not many people so it felt like you almost had the whole resort to yourself. Only 3 other couples were there at the time. 2 pools on property to soak in. Very large property and a seemingly endless beach with no trash visible on it. Do watch out for the very strong undertow as there are no lifeguards. Not alot of bugs besides a few gnats from time to time. Many people on staff had a fair working knowledge of English which was a boon for me. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Internet was about average for the area @ 5 mbps. Cheapest ocean front place I have probably ever stayed. Hotel is surrounded by tropical gardens and there are lots of birds. AC was nice and cold.

Place needs some updates, maintenance, and paint, as the salt air just eats away at everything. No other options available for food or supplies so if you aren’t already bringing it with you, you probably won’t be able to get it. Bedding could be better, however was adequate.
