Caminhos nos Levam pela Ilha

Hélio is an exceptional host and his hospitality made my stay in "Hawaii of Europe" even more pleasant than I could ever imagine. I really appreciate his "you are on a vacation, let me sort out all things" approach. The place is clean, nice, and a great base for all your endeavours on the island. You are greeted with a nice welcome pack after long journey to the island and for the whole stay if you need anything, it is just a text away. After this experience, I would not want to stay anywhere else and will definitely come back one day. I can truly recommend others to do the same. :) Muito obrigado, Hélio! :)

Everything was perfect! Helio was especially helpful in providing a lot of information and tips on where to go. Very well stocked up food section as well!

Our stay in Ponta Delgada exceeded all our expectations. Hélio is an exceptional host who not only thought of every detail to make the apartment comfortable and a home away from home but was also extremely kind and every day made sure that we had everything we needed to make the most of our vacation. The island is magnificent and we loved exploring all the beauty it has to offer. People like Hélio make places even more special. We are already thinking about returning to São Miguel and we know that we want to stay again in Caminhos nos Levam pela Llha. Obrigado por Tudo!

Helio was the best host we ever had. He helped us with everything and made our trip unforgettable. The house was very clean, comfortable and everything we needed was available. Thank you for the amazing experience:)

Helio is the nicest man and wants you to enjoy his island and home, airport pickup and he took me back to get a car, showed me the best two takeout places, and gave me a tour of his town… apt has everything you need including beach towels, umbrellas and enough food to last a few days. His laundry woman did a load of wash for 5 euros. Easy walk to the central area but be careful of drivers where there is no sidewalk, parking easy outside of apt and easy on and off to highway and other sites vs the one way streets in the central area. Loved seeing his cat in the window in the morning. I did have to take cash out for a few days to pay Helio but understand soon booking may be taking payment for him.

A few things I didn’t like- all the windows are frosted so there was no view. And not Helios fault but there is a neglected dog next door that whined and barked through a lot of rainy/cold days in January. Going out to a little back deck area I could see this pup head down lying in a cemented area in the rain. I called a lot of rescue places but the neighbor’s treatment of the dog is a bit common in rural Portugal. I cried and did not sleep for a few days… again not Helios fault as there are few rescue options in Ponta Delgada and I was told the pound is about just as bad. Was also told people don’t adopt… Hard to unsee what you see and as an animal lover especially dogs this broke my heart. Hopefully Helio can work with the owners to find this dog a new home with better conditions. Both Helio and this dog deserve better. Donated to an animal shelter as I couldn’t find a way to change this dog’s situation.

Helio is a host who thinks of absolutely everything to make his guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. He helps to utilize the time on Sao Miguel in a best possible way. For this couple of days I really felt like I had a home there in Ponta Delgada.

I really enjoyed staying at this property. Hospitality was over my expectations. Apartment has everything that you need and even more. It is like 10-15 minutes close to the center of the city by walking. The host was amazing. It was like home away from home. Thanks to Helio for taking care of me during my stay🙏🏻 Highly recommended

It was perfect

Our host Helio was one of the nicest person we have ever met and the apartment exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect - calm but still in the walking distance to the city central. And we felt very safe all the time. In front of the house it had space to park the rent-car for free and the apartment itself was equipped with everything what you might need and even more. ( We have stayed in a lot of small apartments while travelling and never seen one so good equipped like this one.) We felt like at home from the first night there and our holidays were perfectly rounded up with the delicious dinner we had on our last evening together with Helio.

The place is great and the host even more so. The accomodation had everything we needed for our stay, location is also very good and free parking is available if needed. Our host was very kind and helpfull. I would highly recomed this apartment for a holiday.
