Rooms require update.

Quaint, old-school motel looking place, the clerk pleasant and English speaking. Diner just up road, walkable. Hot water fine. Clean, and bed comfortable.

• Baseboard radiant heater in my room was either on or off, it did not regulate according to the temperature in the room or thermostat setting, just on or off, and it cranks it out. So, the room eventually gets way too warm if on (mid-March - still in the 30's in the morning), too cold if off, so a window needed to be left cracked open all night. • Didn't need one, it turned out, because of the heater issue, but the bed had no comforter on it, just a sheet and thin fake wool blanket. Clerk brought a comforter and add'l blanket down upon request. • Pillows are those collapsing kind, fluffy when not in use, but all the padding clears out wherever your head is, so bring your own if that bugs you (gives me a stiff neck). • Wifi super weak where I was in the end room of the row. Dropped frequently, and unusably slow when connected. Needed to use my phone as a hotspot.
