Cozy Log Cabin Retreat in Tennessee

Lovely cabin! Right off the main road so it was easy to get too, but far enough to not have to deal with the noise of traffic. My key wasn't available right away because I booked super last minute, but Roy, the maintenance man, was so helpful and kind to confirm my booking and go get it for me. I felt really safe knowing he was keeping an eye out for suspicious characters, too. The cabin was super cute. Well maintained, lots of space. The bed wasn't bad, and there was a full kitchen and a heater/ac unit. There's also a little grill and fire put right outside. I didn't use it but I'm sure it's nice in the summer.

There was a dead cockroach by the door, and a dead beetle in the bathroom, but I suspect that's because I came in during off season, and they had zero time to check the room before I was there because I booked super last minute. I also missed the entrance the first time because the listing is called "cozy cabin retreat," but it's actually in the Gateway RV Campground.

It was very quite all the time no matter the hours and the cabin was a lot bigger then expected so that was great

It just needs more lighting

Cabins floors were sticky. A/C vent and bathroom vent were full of dust.
