GBWe had a fabulous week at Kemps Kottage, extremely spacious and comfortable throughout with handy mod cons. Perfect for our family of 4 and our dog. The garden was fully enclosed, allowing us to relax, knowing that the dog was safe. Thank you for the doggie basket and treats, which he enjoyed on arrival. Location is spot on with Lowestoft only a 15-minute walk away and the quieter dog friendly Pakefield beach right on the doorstep. Plenty of shops, pubs, chippies etc within walking distance. Highy recommended, and if we come back to the Lowestoft area again, we would not hesitate to re-book Kemps Kottage.
Additional storage space for food in the kitchen would be handy for guests staying longer than a weekend.
GBThe property was clean and beautifully decorated and only a minute from the beach
GBperfect location , great sunny garden , beautiful tasteful decor , two superb showers/bathrooms.
pity about the iron/board being unavailable.

GBBeautiful property, quiet location, and most comfortable bed!
Nothing not to like.
GBOn the whole we found this a pleasant Property. Well appointed. There are some points that I would like to make. I hope they are taken a points of positive criticism. We liked the fact that we could take the dog.
The lights over the dining table were to low, You couldn't talk to someone in the kitchen or even the other side if the table without them interfering with the conversation. The vacuum cleaner brush did not work , making it difficult to use. The tea pot is useless. Totally impossible to pour when full, without spilling. We found the stairs to be very steep, it may be worth mentioning this in the write up. I think some people would find that useful. The door handles are round, they are not good for arthritic hands.
GBI wanted to give this place top marks as it really is a very clean and comfortable property within short walking distance to the beach however, on our first night the keyless digital door lock wouldn't work so we weren't able to get back in after our day out. One of the phone numbers supplied went straight to voicemail but we eventually got hold of the maintenance guy (?) who told us he would call the owner, as he lived "just around the corner". We waited 20 mins and the owner arrived and was very apologetic but failed to bring the key with him! He then had to call his wife to come with the key. After chasing with more phone calls, we eventually got the key..... almost an hour later!! The house is beautifully decorated and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking is on the street outside and just a short walk down to the beach. For the price, it was probably one of the nicest accommodations we've stayed at.
Black out blinds needed at the rear of the property. Sun rises at 04:30 in summer and shines right in on a sunny morning. Similarly, the motion activated lights on the stairs and landing are so bright when you need to use the bathroom during the night.
GBGreat location, near the beach, pub, shops. Very comfortable, cosy & clean.
Only a little niggle, black out curtains in the bedrooms would be nice, they currently let a little bit too much light in.
