The breakfast only started at 9:30 which is a bit late for most people who are travelling for work or want to get on the road early. Would recommend the times are reviewed and maybe start at 7:30 at the latest.

Great pub in a great location with a lovely big garden. Friendly staff.

Doors slamming, no wardrobe or clothes rack (just clothes hangers on the back of the room door) but plenty of drawers in various chests of drawer's, and tv in the corner of the room at odds to the position the bed.

Spotless room, comfy bed.Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. Asked for an earlier breakfast which was accommodated

Steak on a stone night got a bit smoky due to large table all cooking their steak well done. This was not the fault of the staff though

Great location for anyone wanting to break their north-south journey. A nice pub on an interesting and historical village. Great food!
