Sandmill, Murray Park

Man, location is key. This place has it. This was our fourth trip to St. Andrews and by far the best location we’ve had, and we generally stay on north street. It was also large and comfortable (the showers were cramped, but that life in Scotland and its old buildings. Full kitchen and laundry facilities were also great. We stay here again.

The property is dated and in places showing its age. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the building is very old, that’s not necessarily what I’m talking about. it would’ve also been nice to have had more towels and there wasn’t much direction regarding the use of the laundry facilities. For example, we ended up buying our own laundry detergent because none appeared to be provided, that we did find some later. A bit more specificity and how the machines work and where the soap is would’ve been nice.
