OLD ClTY HOTEL BATUMI

Friendly staff and clean, we could change our noisy first room for another one.

We haven't expected a room with a "window" made with glass blocks/bricks which doesn't allow you to sea outside.

Localtion is good. People can go to beach on foot. The staffs are nice. They satisfied guest's reasonable requirement.

They have two type : rooms behind the hotels and rooms in the hotels , This room is inside the hotel , more modern than outside rooms , noisy as u can hear the voice of cars all times , i advice the hotel to add some service to add value like Kettles , hair dryer, water bottle in first day of check in , the curtains to be more thick to have more privacy and night mood to sleep ; to add routers for wifi so will not disconnect all times ,TV .

Friendly and attentive staff.....Good lighting.....Shower has plenty of hot water with good pressure (though shower-head wall latch should be tightened or replaced).....Location is in central Batumi.....Reasonable rate during the tourist season.

The room is quite small because the bed takes up more than half the room.....The biggest problem is the curtain. It is transparent and someone from the busy terrace outside can easily see into the room. I blocked some of the window by moving the portable closet in front of the window. But the curtain really needs to be replaced with a curtain that provides privacy.....No fridge.....No kettle in the room as promised on the booking.com site.....No clothes hangers in the closet (a coat hanger in the corner would be helpful).....Only one outlet in the entire room (a multi-plug strip gizmo would be helpful).....The bathroom is of fair size but the sink is tiny with hardly any room to put toilitries. Also, there are just a few hooks for clothes and towels (a towel rack, another shelve and more hooks would be helpful.)....At this price-point - and with these improvements - the room would be a good lodging choice.

Nikita did everything to make the stay a pleasant experience.

The place is awesome with its location and staff that is more than willing to help with whatever they can. Flexible with your requests and best prices for what one could imagine in Batumi. Rooms were prepared quickly and clean. I cannot stress on how helpful the administrator Nikita was, saved me from ton of work by helping me and giving me information about the city as well as its surroundings. Also there is a nice coffee shop just next to the lobby which is run by a nice lady, I definitely recommend it, which is such a nice addition to the stay in hotel.

Only the wifi can be slow when the room is a little further away from the main lobby, nothing else.
