It was clean and comfortable and the staff were kind

I booked a hotel transfer and arrived at 12:30AM, waited about on hour for the driver then tried to call the hotel and they forgot to send me a driver so i had to order a taxi, at the next day i wanted to take a shower but the water was cold even though i opened the tap for more than 5 minutes just as they mentioned but still no hot water came out

El alojamiento estaba genial, a solo 10 minutos de la plaza central. Ismael nos trató genial y nos ayudó con todo, muy atento de nosotros y un trato genial.

I liked the location of Dar Oki as it was close to the Jemaa El-Fnaa square. It was also not so far from the main roads to get access to taxi's. I liked that the host was waiting nearby for my arrival as that help with locating Dar Oki. I also liked that a heater was provided for me during my stay since it was super cold during the night time. The set up of Dar Oki made me feel as I was at home.

There were a few times during the night when the power went out 2 days in a row. That was a bit annoying. I also did find a cockroach in the room.

I love staying here. I have stayed here several times before, and i keep on coming back.

I absolutely love staying at Dar Oki. Moroccan with a Japanese twist, this place is minimalist, refined, and incredibly elegant. The aesthetics are impeccable – simple, clean, calm, and beautifully thought through. Everything feels intentional, serene, and harmonious. Dar Oki is not about excess. It is about purity, balance, and quiet beauty – and it does this perfectly. What truly makes this place exceptional, though, is the person running it day to day. Ismael is the kindest and most welcoming young man. He greets you with a smile, solves everything with a smile, and genuinely does everything possible to make guests feel at home. His warmth and presence give the place its heart. I have now stayed here three times, and there is nowhere else in Marrakesh I would even consider booking. I love this place. Thank you, Ismael. You are a star.

The architecture was pleasing. The terrace was a relaxing spot to unwind after a long day. The riad had multiple spots where you could sit and relax outside of the rooms as they were small.

We stayed during the winter months, and unfortunately there was no heating provided in the rooms. The remote controls were not functional, and when we raised this with staff, we were given a fan heater that stopped working after about five minutes. Power supply was also an issue. Using multiple lights in the corridor or room would repeatedly trip the electricity, turning it into a frustrating trial-and-error process of flipping switches. With the rooms already freezing, even taking a shower was uncomfortable and unpleasant. We also lacked basic toiletries like hand soap and toilet paper.
