Bears Among Us

The cabin was gorgeous. Everyone felt at home. It was stocked with all of the necessities including the coffee filters, plenty of linens, all cooking supplies, everything we needed to make dinner and eat dinner. The mountain was very peaceful. The cabin was clean and maintained with care. We all felt at home and relaxed. We were able to stream with our Netflix on the TVs in each room and also able to just watch live TV from the main room. We saw 4 bears while on the property.. one on the cabin property itself and 3 on the mountain.

We truly have no complaints.

It's peaceful and beautifully decorated. It was very clean.

The roads are very narrow and steep going up hill..

Private secluded

Private porch with great views! Loved the spa tub and my brother in law had a great time with the hot tub! The large windows made it easy to see around the property and allowed us to see a bear that was checking out my car!

The cleaning crew could have done better. There was coffee left in the pot, spider webs everywhere, dust caked behind the tv, chips were stuffed in the futon, and the soap dispenser in the downstairs bathroom was not refilled. This is not a reflection on the property owner because they do not live in town but I wanted to notate this so the owner could check with the cleaning company about ensuring these things are done for the next visitors.

We loved it! Secluded and away from the tourist traps. The hot tub and jacuzzi were great. Just what we needed. Time away just to decompress. We met a black bear….which is what we had hoped for.

The roads were unnerving. A lot of hairpin turns. Not the property owners fault. I would not recommend in the winter.

Loved the location. We stayed 7 nights. And the cabin was wonderful. So nice to sit on the peaceful porch and not be in the city all the time. The cabin was lovely and clean. Has a gas grill, not charcoal but that wasn't an issue, we bought a can and left it for the next renters. Has everything you need in the kitchen, just need to bring the food. Has a hot tub that worked nicely as well. We would definitely book another stay. And even got a surprise visit from a bear that casually walked upon the banister out of nowhere. Like to scared us to death. But was an awesome experience

Washer and dryer wasn't working during our stay. And the beds were a bit hard but we went there to enjoy the outdoors.

We could see three bears at the property

It’s close to everything. About 3 or 4 miles to Gatlinburg, 7 or 8 miles to pigeon forge.

Not much of a view, it sits back in the woods.

Everything, it was so pretty I wish we could've stayed longer

Location and the facilities in the Lodge were all fabulous

Only that we didn't see bears but that's life!!
