Ecellent location, nice and comfortable room, dog friendly

Room was dusty with cobwebs. Broken basin taps, toilet seat and bath plug. Coffee pods left in coffee machine. Generally finish of room was sadly poor.

On the first night I asked for an early breakfast but this didn’t get passed on to the relevant people. Ate in the restaurant twice and not impressed with the food. Asked for a vat invoice but I was sent a booking confirmation instead. Called to ask for the vat invoice and was told manager would call me back but they didn’t. Emailed the property through their website requesting vat invoice but no response. Called again and finally got the vat invoice. Seemed to me that they couldn’t be bothered and were hoping I would just give up. Not the first time I’ve had a problem with staff at this establishment. Probably won’t return. ☹️

Superb dog friendly bed and breakfast pub premises. Very quiet location and the rooms are beautifully furnished. Fantastic breakfast menu and friendly staff. Beautiful surrounding countryside.
