Beautiful home with hot tub near Cambridge

Large, spacious, modern house. Very clean and comfortable beds. It slept 10 of us really comfortably. Gorgeous hot-tub. Fantastic host with great communication and dealt with our issues promptly

It was further away from Cambridge than we hoped for, approximately 40-50 mins, although the town of Royston was very nice. The neighbour was unpleasant and complained about noice at 9:45 despite us turning the music off. They clearly have an issue with the house being let out. There is a shortage of glasses, cups.

Very spacious living areas, with two lovely en suite bedrooms and two pleasant bedrooms upstairs. The hot tub was much appreciated. The garden is spacious and private. The kitchen is well equipped.

After thirty years of renting holiday accommodation, this was the first time there was no welcome tray. After various long journeys from different areas of the UK all we wanted was a cup of tea on arrival, so that was disappointing, especially considering how much we paid. I also drew the short straw and ended up with the downstairs room. I felt quite vulnerable as neither side gates were secure, with loose posts. Luckily my friends in the two upstairs bedrooms ( who shared the bathroom with me) were good at negotiating our shared usage and there was a small toilet and sink downstairs, which helped.

Might be an idea to attach the key box to a wall. Incase it goes missing. Great communication with owner. Very spacious house.

Unfortunately one of the showers leaked and water came through downstairs so we were unable to use one of the en-suites which when contacting the owner they were aware of a problem

The whole house was amazing. Newly decorated and plenty of space. Hot tub was fantastic. Hosts were super helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. They facilitated our last minute booking with no issues.
