Surfers Point Deck An'nex

The place is just a 2 minute walk to Urbiztondo beach. It is very convenient to get to and the facilities are amazing.

It's right beside a bar so manage your expectations in terms of noise level, but it is silent enough for us to fall asleep.

The caretaker is super nice. She's very accommodating. We originally booked for 2 nights but our plan changed and we would like to stay for a night. However that Diana says she's a co-host said we cannot alter our dates of stay. Said they'll be charge or something by their 3rd party booker. I work for booking.com and know that this is not true. Luckily, the caretaker is smart and allowed us to stay for a night!

It is very noisy at night coz it is beside the After Hours Pub. Also water pressure is very low.. couple room is on the 3rd floor..

The place is a mere walking distance to the beach, as well as to all restaurants and souvenir shops. A 3 to 5 minutes' walk at best. The convenience brought upon by the place is truly remarkable.

Aside from the dated aesthetics of the building, the place nonetheless has served its purposes by being placed in such a convenient place.

We had an amazing stay at Surfside Hostel LU in Surf Town, Urbiztondo, San Juan! As a group of 9 cousins, we were all impressed by how spacious, clean, and well-maintained the place was. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and close to everything we needed. The overall aesthetic and laid-back vibe of the hostel really matched the LU surf culture, making our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and for the value we got, it was definitely worth every peso. Highly recommended for groups looking for a chill and comfortable place in La Union!

The way water is being turned off and that we need to contact the owner of the other property just to have it turned on. The caretaker didn't even seem to have the contact for them since she just said that she is not there and to have us talk to the one at the store - we were staying at the 3rd floor! 😅 Parking was also a hassle as when we were about to go out the next day, 2 vans seem to have parked on the passage and we had to wait for 30-40 mins as they had to search for the drivers of those vans. It wasn't really part of the parking so it should not have been a problem.
