Close to shops and eating

The amount of noise from queens street, that was horrible we did notice ear plugs when we arrived which should have been a sign.

Convenience

Some information about overnight parking would have been helpful - where to park, which apps to download. We parked in Wilson’s Carpark which was very close.

Very well appointed, and very spacious. Each room had a nice queen bed, with linens and towels provided. Washing machine and full kitchen were a nice touch. 2 full bathrooms was great for our big group.

There was a lot of noise coming from Queen Street at different times through of the night (mainly people shouting and fighting). This impacted 2 of the 3 bedrooms in particular. Each bathroom had some ear plugs which was a thoughtful mitigation.

Location was amazing - everything in the CBD right on your doorstep, bus stops, shops, eateries, skytower - all very close by, easy walking distance for all. Plenty of room for a family or group - bedrooms were spacious, having two bathrooms was ideal and full kitchen and laundry facilities is excellent also.

Pickup of keys wasn't ideal - information wasn't passed on in an appropriate time frame so luckily found/read the message while we were out on the street panicking. Even the people at the key pickup location didn't seem to know what was going on, it felt very dodgy and disorganised. Bedding had mold stains on it - had to take off and wash but didn't come out. Floor hadn't been vacuumed. No heating up hallway or in bedrooms and only wall panel heater in lounge which is really large, so hard to heat. Had vent blowing in dining area all day/night. No ventilation or extractor fan in bathrooms. Location is great, but you also have to take the noise with it - very loud (single glazed windows) and very bright (gaps in curtains). Not ideal for children or light sleepers! Property was feeling abit banged up - walls have marks/rips on paint/plaster and skirtings have swollen with damp in bathroom etc.
