Location excellent view amazing location 2 minutes from harbour

Nothing for the overall price lovely clean quiet location we could live there lol

Modern well equipped kitchen, bathroom, comfortable bed. Everything you need is provided. Towels, Sheets Bedding. Fantastic view of Abbey Ruins and Church. Perfect for 1-2 Persons. Would stay here again. Excellent rapid communication from Host. Short distance from Rail and Bus Stations approx 300 metres.

Average TV but I was not there to watch TV.

The flat is in a great location, very cosy and homely and came with literally everything you could possibly need. Finding the property and gaining access was simple too. Will definitely be staying again.

My only gripe would be that it gets slightly warm at night but that could just be a me thing, we should have taken a fan from home.

Parking

The location, everything within walking distance Clean and comfortable rooms and bed

The proximity to the town was great, a 5-10 minute walk. The flat was clean with tea and coffee, but no milk or welcome package as referenced by other reviews. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. The shower was excellent.

After a 4+ hour drive it took an HOUR to find the property. Why? Because the photo and sign on the site when we booked did not match the house on arrival… (Now changed on listing!!) The sign we were looking for was not on the flat. (Un)helpfully, it was on the mantlepiece inside the flat. The flat is marketed as ‘The Den, Springhill Terrace’ but it’s actually listed by Royal Mail as ‘Flat 1, 2 Springhill Terrace.’ So when looking for The Den as listed it quite literally doesn’t exist! See pictures below as was, and as is. There is no swimming pool. When queried, we were told that was an error on the listing generated by the site, and the fact there was no pool is in the small print.. The sofa was not comfortable. Parking in August is horrendous. When we parked (after a further 20 minutes looking for a space) it was 3 streets away. Yes, technically there is parking in the alley just outside the front door, but in August this wasn’t easily manageable due to volume of cars in the location.

The Den was comfortable and in a great location just up a small hill from the train station. Was nice & quiet & neighbours were very friendly.

Parking could be an issue but because the location is so central, you really don’t need the car if you are staying in Whitby - we parked around the corner from the flat & left the car there👍
