Bungalow on the beach

Lovely spacious 3 bed bungalow right on the sea front. Well equipped.

No dislikes, but could do with some full-length mirrors, only tiny one in bathroom and bedroom. No instructions for tv (couldn't find bbc etc tv guide only other channels). Wasn't sure what to do re rubbish or recycling. A couple low level of sensor lights in hallway at night would be good too as it was very dark. No complaints just enhancements. 😁

Location was perfect although the step up to the beach is very steep.

The inner front door to the property doesnt seem to have any way of closing it other than to slam it, which makes all the glass rattle! Very disconcerting!

Easy parking and key access. From stepping in the home, it was clean and fresh and very spacious. Superb living space, good size bedrooms, and modern bathroom. The kitchen had everything you need and direct access to the garden and beach beyond. Pictures were like for like and it was a nice easy stay. Flat walk and bike ride to the village centre with a good selection of food and drink places. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend for a modern home with easy access to everything on the island.

Front garden coukd have had a bit of love on first appearance and the porch access was a bit tight and tricky for bikes having to go round the road to the back and keep bikes secure in the porch. But that's a very minor detail. Bit of a step up to the beach which is fine for us but older people might struggle getting up and down and iit also obscures the sea view slightly....a first floor would give you a terrace with direct sea views.

The location was lovely with easy access to the promenade. although you could see the sea from the bungalow whilst standing up, due to the banking protection from the water meant you couldn't see it sitting down.
