SaPa Big Tree Hmong Homestay

Wow! What an amazing home stay in the Sapa area. Ms Co and Chi Chi are wonderful hosts, helping organise treks, tours, activities and transport. Plus the food on offer here is some of the best we’ve had during our trip. We stayed in a bungalow and it was beautifully decorated and with a comfortable bed. We spent 3 nights and felt truly welcomed into the family and culture. Thank you so much for making our time in Sapa so special.

Nothing! The only thing I would say is we want to visit again but this time in summer rather than winter so we can see the lush green compared to the more winter atmosphere.

Lep bungalov, gostoljubna gostiteljica in odlicna domaca vecerja ob pogovoru z druzino, ki popotniku ponudi cudovit vpogled v zivljenje Hmong ljudstva.

Pozimi je nekoliko hladno, saj bungalovi nimajo gretja, vendar topla oblacila zalezejo. Trenutno je tudi nastanitev tezko dostopna z avtom, saj je cesta v gradnji.

Miss Co e la sua famiglia sono fantastici! Ti fanno sentire accolto e coccolato in ogni momento. Il posto é lontano da Sapa e per arrivarci la strada é in gran parte sterrata e bisogna fare gli ultimi 10 minuti a piedi. Ma il posto ne vale assolutamente la pena: in mezzo alle risaie, con i suoni della natura e i canti dei locals. La famiglia ci ha proposto alcune attività che consigliamo: noi abbiamo fatto un trekking con pranzo in una famiglia che ci ha mostrato anche come creare i tessuti. Ps i pancake la mattina sono speciali… come loro!

Les hôtes sont très accueillants et vous mettrons plus qu'à l'aise ! Le petit déjeuner est excellent, et le cadre splendide.

The journey was very long as the accommodation was in a remote location. The breakfast was very simple.

Es war ein perfekter Aufenthalt! Ich war drei Tage bei Co und ihrer Familie und wäre am liebsten noch länger geblieben! Man fühlt sich einfach wie ein Teil der Familie, wird total herzlich aufgenommen und das Homestay liegt einfach perfekt inmitten von Reisfeldern. Ich habe zwei Trekkingtouren mit Co gemacht und es war unglaublich schön und interessant- nur empfehlenswert! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder:)
