Mango House River Inn Negombo

I stayed here for a day and was genuinely impressed. The room was very quiet—no hallway noise or street disturbances, which made for excellent sleep. It was also spotlessly clean, from the fresh linens to the bathroom. For the price, it’s an absolute steal. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option without sacrificing peace and hygiene, this is it. Just don’t expect luxury amenities, but for the cost, it’s hard to beat. Highly recommended for solo travelers or anyone needing a simple, restful stay.

We spent the best two days at Mango Villa in Negombo. We didn't realize how long it had been. The room was super clean, the bathroom was super clean. Really worth the price. I am very happy to say that the room was great. We stayed at the super villa on April 28-30, which was the lowest price we found. The service was great. We will be back.

It is a peaceful place in a beautiful location. The owners are very nice and good people. They gave me a lot of local information. I didn't eat there or join the yoga class but I'm certain it is top quality. Highly recommend. Amazing value for the facilities and location.

A mosquito net or screens on the windows, so the window can be open at night would be helpful.

Встретить таких людей на земле огромное счастье. Самые дружелюбные хозяева. Идеальная чистота, уют, великолепный завтрак(хотя на сайте указан шриланкийский, нам сделали английский). Йога в окружении пения птиц, это просто великолепно.

Была бы возможность осталосась бы подольше.

Es war die perfekte Unterkunft um vor dem Flug die Schönheit Sri Lankas sacken zu lassen. Wundervolle ruhige Lage abseits des Trubels. Schön gestaltete Zimmer und ein Gastgeber der sich sehr gut um einen kümmert. Ein wunderschöner Garten und das Yoga am morgen ist die Kirsche auf der Torte.

This place has heart. Friendly staff altogether with hospitality ,yoga right in front of the house , fresh breakfast , free laundry and transport service will make u feel like home..we stayed at air-conditioned room with attached bathroom and your own small terasse for chilling..you can use kitchen . landlord can tailor your trip for example to Lion's Rock Sigiriya & river sunset safari 3 min. from place. Not far from airport (25 min) and from great Negombo centre food options ( tuk tuk available for 350 rupiah)..only 10 min walk to beach..big bed even for 2-3people .hot shower available
