"Perfect if you are into nature and looking for a peaceful, relaxing escape in the heart of the tea plantation. Not if yo"

9.0

A calm, luxurious escape with breathtaking views — truly a heaven in the tea plantations, perfect for a relaxing retreat. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared. The common area is very cozy, making you feel at home.

The nights can be noisy due to the wind, insects are quite present, and the access road is poorly maintained. Exploring the surroundings is difficult as you will lose 2–3 hours on the road. In addition, important to know that people are working in the plantation sometimes very close to the lodge, reducing the sense of privacy.

"Amazing stay"

Heaven! We had a family room being a group of 4. We loved it. The boys did the tea factory tour and enjoyed a lot while us girls were chilling at the amazing pool. Delicious food and extremely cozy. Very clean and nice staff.

Please consider that you are surrounded by nature and wildlife so the monkeys might wake you up early in the morning. We loved it!

"I like the ecolodge concept, all the amenities were there for a cost stay.sftaff was vey helpful. Overall very nice expe"

The location, the activity packages they have. They were even flexible to give us room earlier than arranged as we arrived at the resort earlier.

The food. Both the lunch and dinner were not good

"Very Good"

7.0

"Amazing place you must visit but the route to premises is challenging"

9.0

Amazing location in the middle of 10ha tea plantation. Great central restaurant with excellent food.

We stayed in a double lodge where the top was a tent. Great atmosphere and comfortable but a bit humid which was the result of the weather...so not really a negative.

"Overall a mixed experience but mostly positive."

7.0

Stunning views. Very kind staff. Amazing massage at the SPA (this was a highlight of our stay, complete with a steam bath). Excellent excursions organised by the hotel staff (trip to Kandy, visit to a tea factory, tea tasting).

Value for money wasn’t so great - the tents are a bit run down (but clean). We paid approx 1200 USD for three nights (not including the trips or dinners) and we expected a higher standard of accommodation but our “superior suite” has a run down terrace with broken and dirty sun deck chairs - our tent was bigger than the standard one but the terrace was worse. It was a shame because we really wanted to hang out there and soak in the views. There was some minor disrepair and lack of hot water which was quickly attended to, though. The food at the restaurant is average especially at breakfast. Some dinner options are decent but nothing spectacular. Lastly (and obviously this isn’t the fault of the hotel), the leeches are everywhere and are very keen to bite especially right after rain. It’s difficult not to get bitten and people with allergies might want to prepare more carefully for this destination including anti leech socks which are essential for any hiking trips.
