Bridge of Orchy Hotel

Fantastic location.

Poor WiFi, room above the kitchen (invest in slow closing door device on the cupboards), dustbins at the rear clanged, dated and clearly pandering to the plentiful American tourists.

Great location for hiking to West Highland way. The staff and food are fantastic.

The rooms are way over priced but as there are limited alternatives in the area they are clearly taking advantage of this but you can’t fault them for that.

Didnt like the 'welcome' - sour reception staff, curt and unhelpful Interactions with most of the staff were very hurried and you had to follow them or ask for things that should be provided, nobody approached to see if they could help, direct or serve you. I stayed in room 2 and the bed was very uncomfortable and lumpy and thats the worst and most uncomfortable nights sleep ive had on the whw journey and the most expensive stay on the route. Definately Room 2 not worth £367 per night. Room tired, decor finish not great for 4 star hotel Towels clean but tatty around the edges Tea tray wasnt great - room for 2 people and only 1 caramel log and no ordinary coffee in room, only decaff and 4 uht milks At checkout we werent even asked if we had enjoyed our stay or had slept well - again a curt interaction with no pleasantries. There was no point in complaining as i fear it would have fallen on deaf ears. Simply wont stay there again!! Breakfast, the eggs were hard in eggs benedict with very little hollandaise

Our room was so peaceful with a lovely view of the river. Very comfortable beds. Great stay all around after a long day of walking.
