La Casetta di Sornico

Authentiek huisje op een mooie hogergelegen locatie in het stadje Lierna, een feest om daar met de auto naar toe te rijden. Verder zeer goed onderhouden en erg schoon en opgeruimd.

Het piepen en kraken van de twee bedden. Een wat beter en steviger onderstel zou mooi zijn.

This place offers everything you need. It’s also just 10 minutes from Varenna, where you can catch a ferry to Bellagio if you’d like. Federica goes beyond to make sure you’re comfortable, and the treats were a plus! Private parking, a quiet location, a spacious house, and a beautiful neighborhood… we loved it and definitely recommend it!

The home is this cute stone villa. It's beautiful, scenic, clean and fantastic. The host is super warm. Always around to help. And gets everything you need. Everything is so well thought and pretty, it's just a great place to stay in.

The place is a 20 min uphill walk from the station. It's not a negative point at all as the walking trail is super scenic, but if you are not driving, or if you are not used to walking uphill, one way of the walk can be a bit difficult. But it's really a personal observation and you might find it a great walk also!

Lots of attention to detail and pride and care by Frederica. Plenty of space and all facilities we wanted. Beautiful internal renovation in a classic older building. Frederica generously picked us up from the station.

After dinner by the water it is quite a walk back up the hill.

We didn;t expect to find any breakfast items since this was not a B&B and were pleasantly surprised to find coffee and breakfast snacks included. We were there a week and there is also a small grocery within walking distance.

Everything was great

Perfect contact with the owner before as well as during the stay. Ms. Federica is very kind and helpful. The flat is big and very cosy with all mentioned facilities. The location of the flat is very good (train station and bus station are 15/20 min walk away). This place is great for exploring lake Como.
