Hamid is a great host! We enjoyed learning about Bedu culture and life in the desert. The area is beautiful. The tent and facilities were quite comfortable. Imran looked after us very well; he's an excellent cook and very kind.

This desert area was busier than we anticipated, with a lot of local people in the area on a Friday. Better to come during the week rather than over a weekend as we did.

The location was perfect and out of sight of all civilisation. It was very well maintained and clean. Lovely to have separate tents for sleeping, eating and washing.

We wanted to stay a night in the desert in Oman. There are many camps out there in Wahiba Sands, so lot of options to choose from, but there are only a few options that provide a one tent experience, away from all the mass tourism, and just focusing on being in the desert. We enjoyed a wonderful stay at The One tent camp, combined with a camel safari, an excellent diner, a delicious breakfast, and just simply a whole different kind of experience than anything else. We want to thank Hamad for his hospitality and all of his stories, as well as Imran for the truly great food and service provided. Communication was excellent, as well as the help provided when driving in the desert.

Absolutely nothing. This is a place definitely worth staying.

the place is simply lovely we couldn't have had a better tent. Amed the owner is a wonderful person, he made us prepare a delicious dinner, an aperitif upon arrival, and a plentiful and delicious breakfast, the tent is wonderful, the sheets are perfect, as are the bathroom and the shower, nothing is missing , as well as being positioned in a suggestive point where you can touch the stars with a finger, and the atmosphere is dreamlike 🙏

what an incredible experience! The host is genuinely proud of his desert retreat, and it shows in every detail. We loved the thoughtful touches in the dining area and the well-maintained toilet facilities. The bed was extremely comfortable, providing a restful night’s sleep under the stars. Both the dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious, with flavors that perfectly complemented the serene surroundings. I truly enjoyed every moment of the stay and highly recommend this unique experience!

The One is one of those places that you leave, but it never leaves you. This newly opened, single-tent camp has been done up with so much love and attention to detail. The tent itself is spacious and beautifully designed, and the huge outdoor bathroom was a welcome surprise. The secluded location among the dunes is exactly what we had hoped for, allowing us to enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets with no one around. Then there is the owner, Hamad - a highly cultured, well-traveled, spiritual, and engaging individual with whom we had the most enriching conversations. Another highlight was the food, which was freshly prepared by Hamad’s daughter, absolutely delicious and a great variety. We wish we could have stayed longer and certainly hope to return. Until then, we carry with us beautiful memories of our time there.

Simply a dream, simply the best, and simply the absolute highlight of our entire trip to Oman! We absolutely loved it – the best experience we’ve ever had! From the breathtaking location to the warm hospitality, the delicious food, and the serene atmosphere, every moment in the desert at this most beautiful accommodation was unforgettable. Our tent was stunning, with the most comfortable beds and a beautifully designed bathroom. Dinner was among the finest we had in Oman, and breakfast was a dream, enjoyed while gazing out over the desert mountains. In the evening, we sat by the fire with our host, engaging in fascinating conversations about Oman’s culture, sights, and even politics, all under a sky full of stars. It felt like talking to an old friend! The tent’s beauty and comfort left us in awe, and my son adored every moment of our stay. He especially loved exploring the sand for footprints, savoring the delicious dinner, and enjoying the enriching chats with the owner. This was more than just a stay – it was an experience we’ll treasure forever.
